Edan Cohen
Edan Cohen founded Sector Property Group in 2017 and serves as its Principal Broker. He leads a full-service investment sales and development advisory platform covering office, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, development, self-storage, industrial, and specialty use assets across the New York City metropolitan area and the tri-state region. Over 20 years in commercial real estate he has closed more than $400M in aggregate sales on behalf of private owners, family offices, and institutional investors.
His work centers on structuring complex on-market and off-market transactions, repositioning under-utilized properties, and advising owners and investors on value-add, redevelopment, and adaptive reuse opportunities. Before founding Sector, he spent a decade at Itzhaki Properties, later Epic Commercial Realty, rising from Associate Broker to Managing Partner, where he originated and executed investment sales, assemblages, and redevelopment opportunities across multifamily, retail, development, and office assets throughout the New York City metropolitan area and helped lead the firm through its transition.
From 2020 to 2024 he also served as President of Matrix Property Group, an investment sales and advisory platform focused on self-storage, industrial, and development transactions across New York City, Long Island, and northern and central New Jersey.
